The National Health Laboratory is a public establishment, created by the law of August 7, 2012 and operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Health in Luxembourg. It is organized as a multidisciplinary institute which includes, alongside an administrative department, six scientific departments, each grouping together services relating to the fields of morphological & molecular pathology, genetics, medical biology, microbiology, medicine medico-legal and health protection.
